“The Princess and the Frog” (and my perspective about disney villains.)
the new princess is born! yessss!
in line with the times, it seems a definition of “princess” has been changed gradually.
in this movie, Tiana is NOT a traditional “i’ve been waiting for a prince charming” kinda girl.
She knows what she really wants and what she needs to do to make her dream reality.
She IS an independent woman (,who 100% opposite to Princess Gisele) (no offence!)
The entire movie is colored by cheerful New Orleans jazz as the story is set in,
which is as wonderful as old Disney Classics;
however, only thing makes me feel sad is there is no outstanding song like “a whole new world”, “part of your world,” or “color of the wind”…..
That is sad enough for me, who is a huge fan of disney princess songs =(
overall, i do LOVE the movie though =)
But what I really really want to focus on is villains in disney movies.
Look at successive disney villains: Jafar, Ursula, Scar, and YOU RANDALL BOGGS!!!lol
HOW FASCINATING THEY ARE!!!!!!
i personally believe that “villains’ songs” are as good as songs princesses’, and more unique than those girly songs.
(Im still falling in love with Scar’s “Be Prepared”. haha)
Doctor Facilier in “the princess and the frog” is absolutely one of those fascinating disney villains.
if you are one of odd audiences, i mean “a huge villans’ fan,” go watch it.
